About the Collection
As a U.S. Federal depository library, we provide reference assistance and facilitate access to a wide range of U.S. Federal government publications. Our documents collections are available to both academic and public users accessing government information.
In the United States, most newly published government information is available online. Computers that non-UO affiliated patrons may use are available in Knight Library for searching and accessing government-published information. Many electronic government publications may be searched for and accessed via the Library Catalog. See also the Libraries’ guide to Government Information.
We also have an extensive print collection dating back to the 19th century.
Contact the Cartographic and Government Information Librarian for assistance with locating online and physical government publications.
