Kathy received her Masters in Library and Information Science from the University of Maryland where she also completed Master's Level coursework in Geography. She received her BS in Biology/Ecology from Pennsylvania State University, University Park, PA. Before coming to the UO, she worked at the University of California - Davis Libraries as the Map, GIS, and Environmental Sciences Librarian and the University of Maryland, College Park as a Government Documents and Maps Librarian.
