Celebrate International Open Access Week (Oct. 19-25) with UO Libraries! In addition to presentations and panels discussing "The Cost of Knowledge," the library is promoting awareness of changes to our services following sunset of the OA-APC Award and the launch of a new pilot program supporting monograph publication subvention.
Presented by UO Libraries' Data Services and colleagues from Research Advanced Computing Services (RACS) and the Lewis Center for Neuroimaging (LCNI), an annual workshop series prepares researchers and students to use Talapas, UO's supercomputer cluster.
Presented by UO Libraries and the Soaring by the Sea Foundation, an October 17 "Home Movie Day" special screening will highlight newly preserved color films created by Lt. Colonel William Henry "Heine" Fluhrer in 1944 and 1945, capturing extraordinary moments from the closing years of World War II.
