UO Libraries offers a variety of resources and spaces to help support teaching, research, and coursework. UO students, faculty, and staff can also visit and use dozens of partner academic and research libraries around the country. Learn more below!

There are seven libraries in the UO Libraries system that provide access to a wide variety of resources, spaces, and services. Five libraries are located on the main campus in Eugene, and there is a library on the UO Portland campus and at the Oregon Institute of Marine Biology in Charleston.

Rooms and Spaces

The UO Libraries offers reservable study rooms, classrooms, and other facilities in Knight Library and several branch library locations. Bookings are handled through our automated room reservation system, LibCal, unless otherwise noted.

Experiential Learning Spaces

The UO Libraries offer a variety of hands-on learning spaces equipped with innovative technologies for exploration, creativity, and research. From the Visualization Lab’s 50-million-pixel display for data analysis to the DeArmond Makerspace’s tools for crafting and design, these spaces empower users to bring ideas to life. Additional resources include the Douglass Room for music and audio, the RAVE Lab for immersive VR experiences, and the Gaming Center for connection through play.
