Dr. Le Yang oversees a portfolio of digital library services, application development & integration, collection strategies, special collections and university archives, and resource description services in the UO Libraries. His research interests include digital librarianship, open repositories, open infrastructure, and data governance. Before joining UO Libraries, he held positions with Dickinson College, Texas Tech University, and Wenzhou-Kean University. He has a Ph.D. in Library Science focusing on Cross-border Data Governance from Wuhan University, an MLIS and an MA in Communication Studies from the University of Rhode Island, and a Bachelor of Economics from the South China University of Technology.
