Maria leads assessment and data efforts at UO Libraries focused on enhancing services, analyzing impact and outcomes, fostering a culture of assessment, and guiding data-informed decision making. Her work centers user and employee experiences by making assessment and data activities approachable, applying an equity lens to her projects, and working collaboratively to build relationships, discover solutions, and creatively share the library's story. She has over 10 years of experience in libraries and archives at federal, state, and local levels and earned dual master’s degrees in Library Science and Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
