Thomas Internship
The Thomas Internship is made possible through the Robert and Dorris Thomas Endowment Fund. The purpose of the internship is to provide students in any major with career development opportunities in libraries or information technology by providing practical training through a paid internship in the UO Libraries. Eligible students can apply in the Handshake employment portal.
Mimi Vollstedt Internship
The Mimi Vollstedt Internship is made possible through the Maryruth “Mimi” Vollstedt Student Internship Endowment Fund. The purpose of the internship is to provide one or more graduate students earning a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science (or its equivalent) through an accredited education program seeking valuable professional experience through a paid internship in the UO Libraries. Eligible students can apply in the Handshake employment portal.
Special Collections and University Archives (SCUA) Fellowships
Our SCUA fellowships offer anyone, regardless of institutional affiliation or status, the opportunity to work with our rich collections. Researchers working in the realms of feminist science fiction, LGBTQIA+, Ken Kesey, conservative and libertarian movements, environmental activism and the built environment and prints materials from the Americas, Europe, Africa and/or Asia are encouraged to apply.
