Progress in AI technology: What changed and how did we get here?

A strategist with OpenAI, UO alum Bob Rotsted '08 will share retrospective insights into the rapid progress in AI technologies for a general audience. Using this recent history, he will forecast what lies ahead for higher education and the world our graduates will enter. The audience is invited to participate in Q&A and to consider how these developments might shape teaching and learning, including both risks and opportunities. Rotsted is an expert in information security and AI technology.
