The Library Luminaries is a vibrant network of volunteers who advocate for UO Libraries and are dedicated to helping our mission to enrich learning, research, and community engagement on campus and beyond.
Started in November 2025, the Luminaries program offers its members a variety of opportunities for engagement, with the goal of raising awareness and creating meaningful impact within the UO community.
This includes:
- Promoting visibility for the library through public events and outreach
- Identifying and securing new philanthropic resources for the library
- Advising library leadership and providing input through focus group discussions in matters of furthering developmental goals
We are growing our membership base and welcome new members! If you are interested in becoming a Library Luminary and would like to learn more, please contact Jaz Tojong, UO Libraries' outreach and events coordinator.
