Like other units on campus, the University of Oregon Libraries must prepare for a tighter fiscal environment in the years ahead. To align expenditures with available funds while continuing to support the university’s academic mission, we expect to make targeted reductions to library collections and associated services in the coming months.

•    Base decisions on comprehensive usage data and demonstrated scholarly value 
•    Use input from subject liaison librarians to inform decisions

We have launched this webpage to track progress, provide access to key documents, and outline opportunities for engagement. In addition, subject librarians will reach out to campus stakeholders to discuss priorities and gather feedback.
