Graduate Research Fellowship
Fellowship Description
This $3,000 award supports graduate research in Special Collections and University Archives (SCUA). Graduate fellowships are open to University of Oregon (UO) master’s and doctoral students, whose research would benefit from sustained engagement with the university’s special collections and archives. Projects may include theses, dissertations, articles, digital projects, or other scholarly or creative work. Applicants from any field are encouraged to apply. We particularly welcome those who have not previously worked with archival materials and those exploring interdisciplinary approaches. Fellows should be aware that, depending on their status and country of origin, the US government may consider their award taxable income. It is recommended that fellows familiarize themselves with their tax status and take necessary steps to plan for and pay any potential fees.
