Computer Workstations
Academic workstations are designed for current UO students needing quick access or lengthy study sessions with ample space to work. Included are both Apple and Windows running software applications relevant to most academic work.
Open access kiosk computers are available to all visitors for posted time limits. These stations provide access to most UO subscription databases and resources for visiting researchers.
Study Spaces & Rooms
Find a variety of open study spaces and reading areas available to all visitors. Study rooms are reserved primarily for current UO students. Most rooms include a wall-mounted display with HDMI connections and a whiteboard. Conference rooms include resident computers, video conference cameras, and laptop connections. Borrow cables and adapters along with dry erase markers and erasers from the library service desk.
Wireless Access
Faculty, staff and students affiliated with OHSU, Oregon State University, Portland State University, and other Eduroam partner institutions can use their account from their home institution to login to the Eduroam wireless network. Visiting researchers and community users may connect their personal devices to the UO Guest wireless network.
Loaner Equipment
Current UO affiliates may borrow laptops, chargers, cameras, pen tablets, VR headsets and more from the library service desk. Learn more about our loaner equipment.
Book Scanners
All visitors may freely access the book scanner which allows scanning articles and book chapters with options to save to USB, email, or QR code download to your mobile device.
Desktop Scanners
Desktop scanners provide access to scan documents, photos, slides, and film.
Print/Copy Services
A self-service device provides print/copy/scan services for standard paper sizes. UO affiliates can release print jobs and copy with Duck Bucks funds loaded to their Duck ID. Scan to USB and email is available on the glass or for loose pages with the document feeder. Visit the library service desk for assistance.
