Assessment & Analytics

Libraries Assessment and Analytics Manager supports UO Libraries in meeting its goals through gathering, analyzing, and sharing evaluative information about library programs and services. Additionally, this unit ensures that reliable, accurate, and complete library data is available to library administrators, the university, and other stakeholders on an ad hoc basis to facilitate informed decision-making and ultimately improve research and student learning outcomes. 

Communications & Outreach

The Communications and Outreach team supports the UO Libraries’ mission, vision, and values by telling its many stories in a variety of formats for a broad range of key audiences. The team is responsible for brand management, creative media, event planning and promotion, exhibitions, strategic communications, social media, and more.

Executive Support

The Executive Support team provides a variety of support to the Vice Provost and Associate Vice Provosts, including calendaring and travel. They also coordinate the Executive Team’s strategic projects. Additionally, the team provides reception support and customer service to administrative office visitors and manages Knight Library Browsing Room Reservations

Finance

The Associate Director of Finance monitors and adapts the Libraries' budget, generates financial projections, and formulates reports in support of the division's strategic goals. The role also includes fiscal oversight of the Libraries' expenditures, strategic budget planning, resource allocation, and the administration of the Libraries' regular financial operations. 

Operations

Libraries Operations team manages business services, contracts, purchasing, accounts payable & receivable, facilities services, shipping, receiving, and mail room services across seven branches.  

Organizational Development

The Director for Employee Development, Engagement, and Belonging leads Libraries organizational enhancement functions and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. They research, promote, and facilitate best practices in organizational culture aimed at diversifying the representation within the organization, deepening avenues for employee growth, and expanding practices of inclusion and belonging for all.
