Student Opportunities

Special Collections & University Archives has a rotating staff of student employees working as Stacks Management Assistants.  Special Collections and University Archives is home to 50,000+ linear feet of rare books, medieval manuscripts, archival documents, original artwork, photographs and more. Stacks management assistants assist the Collections Manager and Special Collections Staff in the care and feeding of all collection materials, ensuring that they will be available to researchers and the public for years to come.  Please contact Library HR representative Crystal Karlsen for available positions. 

For 2019-2020 we are offering a Thomas Internship for an Archival Processing Intern to help increase the accessibility of hidden holdings in SCUA related to the history of journalism and publishing in the Pacific Northwest.
