Knight Library's Microforms area is located in the southeast corner of the first floor and available all hours Knight Library is open. We have three scanners and readers available for patron use: the ST Imaging ViewScan 4, the Indus Super Carrel, and the Canon Microfilm Scanner 400. These machines can scan microfilm, microfiche, and microprint opaque cards. Using the PerfectView software on the ViewScan 4, you can save your scans to a USB drive in a variety of formats, including JPEG, PNG, TIFF, PDF (including multipage PDF), and BMP. A laminated quick-start guide is available at the ViewScan 4 station. Also located in the Microforms area are four video viewing stations for personal use. The stations support playback of VHS, DVD, Laserdisc, and Blu-ray formats.
