This required information is based on our extensive reference experience and our desire to give you the answer you need, even if it's not quite the question you had asked. In no case will your personal information be made available to anyone else or used for any purpose other than answering your query.
If your email involves an upcoming research visit, please be aware that many of our collections are held offsite, and therefore we advise requesting materials at least 5 business days in advance. Research assistance is limited to 30 minutes. For more extended research assistance, we recommend hiring a freelance researcher. Please contact us if you are interested in this option.
