Frohnmayer Leadership Law Library Collection
Created through an investment from the Dave Frohnmayer Leadership Fund, the collection is named in honor of former Oregon Attorney General, UO president, and UO law dean Dave Frohnmayer. The collection enhances the leadership knowledge of law students so they can develop the skills to be empowered leaders in their profession. Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Law Library Collection

George J. Tichy Employment Law Section
This valuable collection is named for UO Law alumnus George J. Tichy, Esq., in honor of his significant contributions to labor and employment law. The collection includes interdisciplinary research and practice materials in labor and employment law. A plaque on the 4th floor commemorates the collection, though Tichy materials are found throughout the library’s stacks and are identified by special bookplates.
Law Popular Culture Collection
“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.” ― Dr. Seuss. Recent best sellers and popular fiction and non-fiction titles are available on the main floor of the law library. The collection also includes popular images of lawyers and judges as portrayed in novels, short stories, and comic books. Movies, documentaries, and television can be found in the Video Room next to the circulation desk.
Rennard Strickland Indian Law and Culture Collection
The Strickland Collection was born from the generous support of leading Native American legal scholar and former UO Law Dean Rennard Strickland. The collection is a rich resource for scholars and researchers of Indian law, tribal law, and the history and culture of Native Americans and other indigenous peoples. In addition to Indian law, the collection includes works of art and literature by Native American authors. Books are identified by special bookplates.
Sustainable Business Collection
The UO Law Students for Sustainable Business initiated this important collection to promote environmental sustainability through innovation and entrepreneurship. The resources support student work and UO Law leadership in the field. Materials cover sustainable development, green building, renewable energy policy, sustainable venture capital investment, carbon taxes and more. Books in this multidisciplinary collection include special bookplates.
