Allan Price Science Commons and Research Library

The Allan Price Science Commons and Research Library (or "Price Science Commons") supports research and instruction in the natural and physical sciences. We have computers, study spaces, experiential learning spaces, and access to research help.

50-million-pixel screen for viewing high-definition images and data visualization. Available for instructional and research uses by reservation only. Updates are currently underway for fall 2021, adding multiple additional HD screens to the room.

PSC has a lot of open study areas with a variety of furniture so you can find just the right space for your working needs today: sunshine or shadow, silence or chatter, open space or enclosure.

The MakerSpace has laser and vinyl cutters, embroidery and heavy-duty sewing machines, lamination, a mini mill, and more. Training and/or resource-finding help is available for our tools.

The PSC has two flexible classrooms designed for active learning. Priority is given to science classes using active learning pedagogy. CRN courses are assigned into the space by the Registrar.
