CLASSROOMS & STUDY SPACES
Room Use Policy
The UO Portland Library and Learning Commons offers three study rooms available during regular library hours by reservation and for drop-in use when not reserved. There is a group study and classroom located on the lower level of the Library (WSB 072A), a small study room on the main floor (WSB 172A) and an individual quiet study booth (WSB 172). For room details and a complete list of common study spaces at UO Portland, please visit the UO Portland Library Rooms & Spaces page.
These spaces are available via same day and advanced bookings handled through our automated room reservation system, LibCal. Advanced room requests may also be emailed to email@example.com, for approval by Library staff. Individual students and student groups may use these rooms for drop-in study by asking at the library service desk.
Priority use of the rooms is for University of Oregon students, instructors, and academic support providers. In order to preserve flexibility for student use, these rooms are not generally available for regularly scheduled meetings, but scheduled term-length UO courses occurring during regular library open hours are encouraged with the Library classroom (WSB 072A).
UO Portland Library rooms and spaces are guided by compliance with library and university policies. For details related to room use and maintaining a scholarly environment, please refer to Library User Rights and Responsibilities.
