My research guides

David Woken is the History and Latin American Studies Librarian and Coordinator of Graduate Instruction at the UO Libraries. He received his B.A. in History (with a minor in Spanish) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2000, an M.A. in Latin American History from Indiana University-Bloomington in 2002, and an M.A. in Library and Information Studies from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 2012. His research interests in History include labor, migration, the history of print culture, and the history of anarchism, while his interests in librarianship include graduate student instruction, international and first-generation students' interactions with academic libraries, library instruction with archival materials and primary sources, radical pedagogy, and open access publishing in Latin America.
