Danielle Mericle holds an MFA in Photography from Syracuse University and a BFA from University of Georgia. Prior to joining the University of Oregon, she worked at Cornell University Library as the Director of the Digital Media Group and Coordinator of Digital Consulting & Production Services, and at New York Public Library as Digital Photographer.   She has conducted numerous workshops in digital production, preservation, and workflow management; and has presented internationally and nationally on various digital scholarship initiatives.  She has taught photography at Alfred University and Ithaca College, and is the co-founder of a small publishing company specializing in photographic artist's books.  Currently, she is the Curator of Visual Materials at Special Collections & University Archives.
