Word Made Print: Reformation and the History of the Book

Co-sponsored by the University of Oregon Libraries’ Special Collections and University Archives and Northwest Christian University’s Kellenberger Library, this is a collaborative exhibit in recognition of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.
Curated by Vera Keller, David Luebke, Steve Silver, and David de Lorenzo, the exhibit showcases important medieval and Renaissance manuscripts and early printed books from the two libraries’ collections.
In conjunction with this exhibit, Knight Library will host an opening event featuring a talk by Thomas Brady, Peder Sather Chair of History Emeritus at UC-Berkeley, on Tuesday, October 3. The event is free and open to the public.
