Subject specialist librarians are available to provide an instruction session with your class about the research process, relevant resources and other specific topics. To schedule an in-person or online session for your class, contact Michael Brown, Library Manager, brownm@uoregon.edu. Bring your class by for a research visit to browse the shelves or suggest a workshop we can coordinate with a librarian or Data Services.

Place materials on course reserve and locate articles. Locate UO Libraries materials, bring your own personal items, or request the purchase of new library materials. Loaner Equipment is available for checkout from the UO Portland Library! Borrow phone and laptop chargers, cables and adapters. We have laptops, headsets, microphones, and recording devices. Unique items include digital microscope, lighting kits and drawing tablets.
PDX Loaner. User Support Services (USS) will provide your classroom equipment and support.

Consider scheduling your class to be held in the Library Classroom (072A). This space offers a 65" touch-screen on a cart with a resident computer and camera for connecting remote sessions. The space can accommodate 12-15 students comfortably with tables and is available for presentations that can hold up to 25 seats.

OneDrive (Microsoft Office 365) is UO’s secure online storage solution you can use to share larger files with your class by posting a link in Canvas. OneDrive and Office 365 are the officially supported storage and productivity solutions for all UO affiliates. https://office.uoregon.edu

Panopto is a video platform to record presentations, store existing video files and stream them to any device. Panopto is integrated with Canvas, allowing you to upload content and share it securely with students in your course. https://uoregon.hosted.panopto.com

Visit the Output Room located on the 5th floor of the White Stag Block in the College of Design. This service desk is here for all UO affiliates to provide high-quality, mediated printing, wide- format printing to a variety of materials, large format scanning, vinyl cutting, binding, lamination and multimedia consultation.
