Build a Bat Detector: MakerSpace Workshop

Build a Bat Detector: MakerSpace Workshop

Wednesdays, 6-7 p.m., Jan. 18 - Feb. 1

Do you have an interest in bats, electronics, or conservation? Or just want to learn to solder and make something cool?

In this MakerSpace workshop, we will use Arduino micro-controllers to build Bat Detectors. They pick up the ultra-high-frequency calls of bats and then re-emit them at an audible level. With the detector you build, you will be able to identify species of bats by their calls and their behavior.

When: Wednesdays, 6-7 p.m., starting January 18 and running until February 1.
