Description:

Join us for a hands-on workshop exploring how text mining and analysis can be used for research and pedagogy. We will learn about several free web tools that can help us analyze texts in ways not immediately apparent to the naked eye. Please bring your laptop and charger and at least two digital texts. These texts could be anything you’re interested in working with, from a novel (or a series of novels) to legal statues to the most recent articles you’ve read in your field. We’ll also have sample texts available. All are welcome to attend.
