General Information on Printing, Scanning & Copying
The Libraries' Pay-to-Print System
UO Libraries use a pay-to-print system called UnipriNT. You'll find instructions on how to use that system, as well as instructions on how to print from a laptop to the public printers in Knight Library or the Science Library via ethernet or wireless on this page.
Campus Cash: All UO students, faculty, and staff have pre-established Campus Cash accounts. Non-UO patrons may purchase a generic Campus Cash card with a unique account number. The empty card costs $1. These cards can be bought from the Campus Cash machine in the Checkout/Information lobby in the Knight Library or from the UO Card Office (ground floor of the Erb Memorial Union). For security, we recommend registering generic cards and account numbers at the UO Card office at your earliest convenience(541.346-3113). The magnetic stripe on the UO Libraries Oregon Card also works with the Campus Cash debit program.
If you are a student, you can add value to your campus cash account online.
You can also add funds to your Campus Cash account at locations listed below. Some accept credit cards, others accept only cash.
- The UO Card Office accepts cash, check, Visa/Mastercard and charges to student accounts. In-person deposits can also be made at the following locations:

Cash: Some copiers will accept coins and/or dollar bills for copying.
Photocopying for Patrons with Disabilities
Library staff will photocopy materials for patrons with disabilities. You may ask staff at any service desk for assistance; you must provide cash or Campus Cash for the cost of the copies. If you have more copying than can be done immediately, you may leave your Campus Cash card with the staff and they will arrange for it to be done within 24 hours.
The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Patrons are responsible for their own copyright compliance and are liable for any infringement resulting from copying, laser printing, or scanning.
