 1. Additional Hours Added for Knight and Science Libraries, Dead Week and Finals Weeks 
Knight Library will be open around the clock to UO students Saturday, Dec. 3, and Sunday, Dec. 4, in addition to its usual Sunday-Friday around-the-clock schedule through finals week. The Science Library also adds two hours to its daily schedule during dead week and finals week. All UO Libraries will close at 7 p.m., Friday, Dec. 9, and maintain intersession schedules, including weekend and holiday closures, until Monday, Jan. 9, following winter break.

2. Win $$ for Your Undergraduate Thesis or Research Project. Deadline: Feb. 6, 2011
Did you know you that using the UO Libraries to prepare your thesis or class project can help you win up to $1,500? Each year, through its Undergraduate Research Awards program, the library recognizes UO undergraduates who produce high-quality research projects using the library's extensive resources and services.

3. Make an Appointment for One-on-One Research Assistance from a Librarian
Did you know you can get personalized assistance from UO librarians to help you find the best resources available for that all-important term paper or research project? Our librarians are happy to schedule one-on-one sessions with UO students to help make the process of discovering research material more efficient and effective.

4. Need Math Homework Help? Check Out the Newly Renovated Math Library
Math homework help, courtesy of the UO Libraries, is now available in the newly renovated Mathematics Library in 218 Fenton Hall.

5. Expanded Study Space Available in Knight Library
Room 101 in Knight Library, located near Video Reserves on the first floor, has recently been renovated and is now open as a large study area from 6 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Monday-Thursday and at all times Friday-Sunday. Occasional exceptions to these times will be posted. Furnished with moveable tables and seating that can be rearranged to suit your needs, the room boasts more than seventy electrical outlets, excellent wireless reception, and good lighting.

 6. Oregon Undergraduate Research (OUR) Journal Submission Deadline Feb. 10
The Oregon Undergraduate Research Journal (OUR Journal), hosted by the UO Libraries, is an online, open access publication managed and produced by UO students. UO undergraduates are encouraged to submit their research by February 10, 2012, for consideration for publication in the next issue.

7. Miss a Campus Presentation? Watch it Later on UO Channel
The UO Channel, managed by the UO Libraries, offers viewing of live streamed events and lectures as well as taped lectures for on-demand viewing. If you are unable to attend upcoming lectures on campus or missed particular lectures, those events may be available for viewing on the UO Channel at http://media.uoregon.edu/channel/. More than 400 presentations given at the UO have been archived on the UO Channel.
