GIS Data & Resources

ESRI Resources at the UO

ESRI software is available for UO Faculty, staff and students for use on university owned and personal computers for use in education and research only (not for commercial or for-profit use). If you have a current UO login and ID, you can download ArcGIS Desktop from Campus IT. You will need to log in using your DuckID and password. ESRI software runs on Windows operating system.

ESRI Data & Maps for ArcGIS 10 is also available for download at the same site as the software. The data, along with some data from local Oregon governments, is also available through the Libraries' Data Commons Share. Instructions on accessing the data are at Commons Data: connecting to the data folder

ArcGIS Desktop is installed in the Libraries on all PC workstations that require login.  It is also available in College of Design PPPM Computer Lab and SSIL Computer Lab among other locations.
