Internet Only Kiosks

Overview | Hardware & Software | Locations

The UO Libraries offers public Internet only workstations, or kiosks, in all campus libraries. The primary function of these public workstations is to provide the widest possible access for research purposes. The workstations offer a choice of Web browser, audio and video support, and the ability to download files to a USB drive. Public workstations provide full access to the library catalog, the libraries' electronic databases and resources, information about the library, and open Internet access. Public workstations are available on a first come/first served basis. To insure equitable access for all users, sessions on public workstations are limited to 30 minutes.
