Baseball: Researching the National Pastime

The Ball: a Research Project

The ball that inspired the research documented in this portion of the exhibit was autographed by a barnstorming team of Major League players on October 6, 1932 at Devil's Lake, North Dakota. As part of a larger U.S.-Canada tour, the game featured a barnstorming team of Major League All-Stars led by Earl Mack, against the local Devil's Lake Lakers.
