Data Management Planning Workshops

Workshops are available for UO faculty, graduate students, and researchers submitting NSF and other grants with data management requirements.

Slides for the April 19, 2012 workshop, and handout.

Responsible Conduct of Research

The NSF and NIH have requirements for training for undergraduate and graduate students and postdoctoral staff in the responsible and ethical conduct of research. One of the core areas of this training is data acquisition, management, sharing and ownership.

We provide sessions on these topics, which can be integrated with research ethics and research methods seminars, or as a stand-alone workshop.

Other training opportunities

If your research group or department wants a workshop or review of data management planning resources and options, please contact Brian Westra.
