Designing an Online Course in Canvas

Teaching an online class? Please join us for a 4-part, hands-on workshop series for developing an online course in Canvas, we welcome all faculty and graduate employees.  Attend as few or as many of the four workshops you are interested in.  The workshops will be held on Tuesdays from 3:00pm - 4:30pm in the DREAM Lab at the Knight Library. 

  • April 23rd - Step into Online Teaching with Backward Design
  • April 30th - Stepping Through your Canvas Course
  • May 7th - Keep Students Moving with an Engaging Learning Environment
  • May 14th - Getting Your Students to the Finish Line with Authentic Assessment

Teaching Talks, a Conversation

Join us for Teaching Talks, a conversation.  The topics for each session are determined by you, UO instructors.  The topic for Week 4, Spring 2019 will be student engagement in online and face-to-face courses. CMET is hosting Teaching Talks during Week 4 and Week 8 of Spring 2019.  There will be two opportunities each week to participate.  Select the best time for you, or join us for both.  These conversations will be held in the DREAM Lab, located on the first floor of the UO Knight Library.
