Census Data Users Workshop

Data on a Deadline: Accessing Quick Data Reports and Interactive Maps.  During this training you will learn about U.S. Census Bureau programs and products through live exercises and instruction downloading data and creating maps using tools such as QuickFacts, Census Explorer, American FactFinder, and more.
Getting Ready for the 2020 Census.  Planning and testing are already underway for 2020.  Learn about the timeline, new technologies for data collection, how the efforts of local governments and community organizations can result in a better census, and possible changes to the questionnaire.
Census Bureau Economic Programs.  Overview and explanation of Business and Industry programs, how data is collected and reported, schedule of releases and data highlights for Oregon, including employer vs. non‐employer trends.  Data users will learn how to easily access statistics from multiple programs using the Census Business Builder suite of tools.
