THE ARCHITECTURE OF THE UNIVERSITY OF OREGON
Moshofsky Sports Center
2735 Leo Harris Parkway. Part of Autzen Stadium Complex.
Architect: PIVOT Architecture (formerly WBGS Architect) with Ratio Architects; Chambers Construction.
The Moshofsky Sports Center was dedicated in August 1998. The 135,00 gsf facility includes an artificial surface football field and a 120-meter four-lane synthetic surface running track. It can also accommodate use by the softball team and the university's golf teams. A combination of indirect lighting and skylight panels facilitate an energy efficient and flexible lighting system. The building hosts up to 5,000 football fans for tailgate parties during football game days.
