Access Services Technician: The Access Services Technician serves the library mission by providing access to library resources at the Checkout & Reserves Desk in the Knight Library. Permanent staff are responsible for 10 to 12 desk hours per week and supervise from one to four student assistants during each desk hour. This position is also responsible to open the Knight Library Monday through Friday.
The Access Services Technician is responsible for understanding and explaining library procedures, discovery tools, security, patron privileges, and access issues. Other responsibilities include processing and monitoring the Knight hold shelf, bookings, hourly loans, newspapers, the Aerial Photography packet, and In-Transit items queue. Additionally, this position provides periodic Reserves support and training to student assistants.
Work schedule: Regular work schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 5:30 am - 2:30 om, but may be required to work morning, evening, or weekend shifts in the absence of regularly scheduled staff.

Instructional Technology Integrator: In support of the academic mission of the University of Oregon and reporting to the Media Services Manager, the Instructional Technology Integrator works closely with the CMET team of full-time staff as well as other Library and IT professionals, to provide campus-wide instructional technology services. These include but are not limited to enterprise learning management systems, integrated instructional technologies, video conferencing, streaming and on-demand video services, classroom technologies for all general pool and joint-controlled classrooms on campus.
Working closely with the CMET unit managers, the incumbent assists in integrating emerging and existing technologies to ensure a holistic, user-centered instructional technology support experience. Working closely with CMET team and Libraries staff and faculty, the incumbent provides operational and project support on approved audio/multimedia projects, including but not limited to approved curriculum outreach, grant-sponsored projects.
