Caroline Wilkins, who served as the State Chairperson of the Democratic Party of Oregon, presented the University of Oregon Library with the party files in October of 1972. The files span the period between 1952 and 1968; however, the major portion is from the early 60s. Included in the collection is correspondence with political figures and general citizenry. Much material deals with funding, finances, and organization, as well as contemporary major issues. Campaigns, conventions, conferences and committees make up a large part of the collection. Major correspondents are Martha A. Adelsheim; John Allen; John B. Bailey; John C. Beatty, Jr.; Robert A. Boyer; Harriet G. Civin; Edith Green; Beulah J. Hand; Hubert H. The Round Table Club of Eugene is a social and intellectual club, which began in 1912. Originally it was only open to men in the Eugene area with a college degree. It opened its membership to women in 1996. The collection includes programs, minutes, papers, club and member information, correspondence, and financial documents.

Newly available collection: Oregon Federation of Women’s Clubs records

The Oregon Federation of Women’s Clubs’ (OFWC) mission is to “bring into communication and to unite the women’s clubs and like organizations throughout the State for the purpose of mutual benefit, and for the promotion of their common interest in educational, industrial, artistic, and scientific culture as interpreted and implemented by established policy.” The collection contains OFWC minutes, publications, constitutions and bylaws, reports, directories, financial records, scrapbooks, histories, yearbooks, and General Federation publications and communications.
