Marshall Eugene Cornett (1898-1947) was a business owner and politician of Oregon who served in the state senate from 1941-1947 and was killed in a plane crash while still in office. The collection (1935-1949) contains correspondence files and speeches.

Herbert Parkyn was a financial agent for the Black Sand and Gold recovery company of Chicago, Illinois. The collection (1907) contains letters and printed material that Parkyn sent to Robert M. In the letter, Dye declines the presidency [of a suffrage group?] and recommends Mrs. Ada Unruh instead because she “has the courage to stand up against the Oregonian and Mrs. Duniway.”
