Edward John Hanzlik (1886-1959) was a graduate of the University of Washington College of Forestry, 1912 and spent most of his career in the Pacific Northwest in the field of forest management. The collection contains field diaries, articles, an account book, Xi Sigma Pi correspondence, and photographs.

Patten was influential in the church and a manufacturer of Wine of Cardui, a nostrum composed of a mixture that was alleged to be 29 per cent alcohol. The collection contains correspondence, letters to the Editor, clippings, and a scrapbook regarding Baker’s attempts to oust Patten from his position of influence and stop the sale of his medicine.

Henry Waldo Coe (1857-1927) was a Portland, Oregon, physician, patron of the arts, and member of the Progressive Party. The collection consists mainly of correspondence including letters from Theodore Roosevelt and the Roosevelt family (1907-1918), and correspondence, clippings and photographs concerning statues of Roosevelt, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Jeanne D’Arc commissioned by Coe.
