Voice Boards are an aural alternative to text-based discussions. Voice Boards are used when pronunciation is critical, such as in a foreign language class or an AEI class. The following will show you how to set up and use a Voice Board in Blackboard.
Twitter provides many benefits for the academics, such as following experts in their fields around the world to keep up with the latest information. Through twitter, students and instructors are also able to participate in live discussions through the web.
Adding a twitter feed to the Blackboard site involves a combination of few simple steps:
How do I set up a survey? How do I view the results?
Creating a survey is a two-step process. (1) create the survey with the “Tests, Surveys, and Pools” tool, and then (2) deploy it with the “Create Assessment” button in a content area, such as “Course Documents”.
(1) Create survey
To create a survey click on the “Tests, Surveys, and Pools” link under “Course Tools” in the Course Management panel on the left side of the page. Then select Surveys from the middle of the page.
I copied a course from several years ago, and now I can't delete old announcements.
If the announcement was originally posted by someone (perhaps a GTF who assisted you in the course in years past) who has left the UO, the original poster's account may be disabled, which prevents anyone else from deleting the announcement. Send email to email@example.com giving the name of the course and the announcement you need deleted, and we can help you fix this.
