How do I put a PowerPoint presentation on my coursesite?

However, many students may not have PowerPoint or an equivalent program, so some instructors find it easier to convert their PowerPoint slides to .pdf before uploading.
Visit http://blackboard.uoregon.edu. Enter your UO Duck ID, e.g. "jdoe" (don't include "@uoregon.edu") and the corresponding password (which is the same password as the one for your UO email address). For more help logging in to blackboard, see "Login Help." That help file also describes what to do if you get an error when you try to log in.

There are many advanced tools such as discussion forums, wikis, blogs and send email functions that you may wish to use in your course. Students can find these tools by searching through the list of Blackboard tools. However, you may wish to add a link directly to the tool that shows up on the navigation sidebar for your course in order to help students avoid having to navigate through the lengthy list of tools available under the "Tools" link.
Blackboard is the online course management system at the University of Oregon. It is designed to provide a collection of tools to help instructors and students supplement, and sometimes replace, face to face learning.
