Academic Workstations required patrons to login with a valid DuckID. These workstations can be found throughout the Knight Library (including the Cinema Studies Lab), as well in the AAA, Math, OIMB, Portland, Science, and Global Scholars Hall Libraries. The library also manages the computers in the McKenzie and Klamath computing labs.
Both Windows and Mac computers are used for academic workstations, with full software suites like Microsoft Office 2010 and Adobe Creative Suite CS6, have large flat panel displays, and allow patrons to use the Internet, work on papers, create presentations, and burn CDs/DVDs. Each machine can print to the library's laser black and white or color printers, and some machines have scanners attached.
For patrons without a DuckID, Internet Only Kiosks are available for quick usage of the internet, the library catalog and library electronic resources, such as databases, electronic journals and ebooks.
Laptops are available for checkout for up to four hours in the Science Library.
