Printing in McKenzie

To add the McKenzie Black and White (RICOH Aficio MP 8200DN Black/White) printer to your laptop, follow the instructions below:

1. Download and install the appropirate printer drivers from here.

2. Under the Apple menu in the top left of your computer screen, select System Preferences

3. Select ‘Print & Fax’ from the Hardware subcategory

4. Unlock, and Select Add a Printer (The “+” symbol at the bottom of the printer queue)

5. From the toolbar at the top, select IP

6. Under Protocol, select Line Printer Daemon - LPD

Fill in Address: “isl-labprint”

Queue: “isl-mck-bw01q”

Name the printer "McKenzie BW"

7. Under Print Using, select “Select Printer Software”

In the search box, search for “5100cn”, Select Dell 5100cn and Add

If Ricoh 5100cn is unavailable, select “Generic PS Driver” from the Print Using menu

8. Check the box next to the Duplex Unit option, then Continue

The printer "McKenzie BW" should now be available as a printer choice.

To add the McKenzie Color (Dell 5100cn) printer to your laptop, follow the instructions below:

1. Download and install the appropirate printer drivers from here.

2. Under the Apple menu in the top left of your computer screen, select System Preferences

3. Select ‘Print & Fax’ from the Hardware subcategory

4. Unlock, and Select Add a Printer (The “+” symbol at the bottom of the printer queue)

5. From the toolbar at the top, select IP

6. Under Protocol, select Line Printer Daemon - LPD

Fill in Address: “isl-labprint”

Queue: “isl-mck-colorq”

Name the printer "McKenzie Color"

7. Under Print Using, select “Select Printer Software”

In the search box, search for “5100cn”, Select Dell 5100cn and Add

If Dell 5100cn is unavailable, select “Generic PS Driver” from the Print Using menu

8. Check the box next to the Duplex Unit option, then Continue

The printer "McKenzie Color" should now be available as a printer choice.
