Printing in the EMU

To add the EMU Black and White (RICOH Aficio MP 8200DN Black/White) printer to your laptop, follow the instructions below:

1. Under the Apple menu in the top left of your computer screen, select System Preferences

2. Select ‘Print & Fax’ from the Hardware subcategory

3. Unlock, and Select Add a Printer (The “+” symbol at the bottom of the printer queue)

4. From the toolbar at the top, select IP

5. Under Protocol, select Line Printer Daemon - LPD

Fill in Address: “lib-kni-ps01”

Queue: “EMU_BW”

Name the printer "EMU BW"

6. Under Print Using, select “Select Printer Software”

In the search box, search for “8200DN”, Select Ricoh 8200DN and Add

If Ricoh 8200DN is unavailable, select “Generic PS Driver” from the Print Using menu

7. Check the box next to the Duplex Unit option, then Continue

The printer "EMU BW" should now be available as a printer choice.

To add the EMU Color (RICOH Aficio MP C2551 Color) printer to your laptop, follow the instructions below:

1. Under the Apple menu in the top left of your computer screen, select System Preferences

2. Select ‘Print & Fax’ from the Hardware subcategory

3. Unlock, and Select Add a Printer (The “+” symbol at the bottom of the printer queue)

4. From the toolbar at the top, select IP

5. Under Protocol, select Line Printer Daemon - LPD

Fill in Address: “lib-kni-ps01”

Queue: “EMU_Color”

Name the printer "EMU Color"

6. Under Print Using, select “Select Printer Software”

In the search box, search for “C2551”, Select Ricoh C2551 and Add

If Ricoh C2551 is unavailable, select “Generic PS Driver” from the Print Using menu

7. Check the box next to the Duplex Unit option, then Continue

The printer "EMU Color" should now be available as a printer choice.
