How do I clear my browser cache?
Here is our recommendation on supported browsers.
Before clearing your browser cache be sure to log out of Blackboard and any other sites and then close and restart your browser after clearing the cache. Then, instructions depend on the particular browser:
On a Mac, under the Firefox dropdown menu, click on "Preferences...".
On a PC, under the Firefox dropdown menu, click on "Options".
Then click on the "Advanced" tab. Within the "Advanced" tab, you will want to click on "Network".
You will then want to click on "Clear Now" which is in the "Cached Web Content" section of the page.
Click the "Safari" menu and then "Empty Cache...".
You will now want to navigate to the "Privacy" tab and then click on "Remove All Website Data..."
A pop-up will appear, and you will want to click on "Remove Now".
For Internet Explorer:
Click on the "Settings" button on the top right of the page, click on "Safety", and then click on "Delete Browsing History...".
*On a PC, you can also use the keyboard shortcut "Ctr+Shift+Del" to access the the "Delete Browsing History..." window.
On the next window, make sure the boxes next to "Preserve Favorites website data" and "Temporary Internet files" are checked before clicking on "delete" at the bottom of the page.
For Google Chrome:
Click the Customize and Control menu in the upper-right corner, click on Tools and then click on Clear Browsing Data...
In the dropdown list next to "Obliterate the following items from:" select "the beginning of time". Then make sure the box that is next to Empty the cache is checked before clicking on Clear Browsing Data.
