Behavior Policy

The UO Libraries seeks to provide a safe, secure, and welcoming environment with equitable services and comfortable facilities. Any behaviors that interfere with the shared use of library resources for research, teaching, and learning, and/or behaviors that infringe upon the rights of library users or staff members are not permitted. These prohibited behaviors include, but are not limited to, the creation of excessive noise, harassment or intimidation of others, vending, soliciting, petitioning, and distribution of materials. Posting of materials is allowed only with permission from authorized library staff members, per the Libraries’ Sign Policy. All library users are expected to conform to the university’s Community Standards and comply with relevant institutional policies and regulations. UO students must comply with the university’s Student Conduct Code.
