Exhibit Curators and Students Speak on the History of Recipes
Tuesday, April 22, 4 p.m.
An opening of a new exhibit in the UO Libraries Special Collections and University Archives on the second floor of Knight Library will feature exhibit curators and Clark Honors College students speaking on the evolution of recipes from 1400 to 2000.
The opening is set for Tuesday, April 22, in Knight Library’s Browsing Room beginning at 4 p.m. Tours of the exhibit will be offered following the presentations.
The exhibit is titled “Recipe: The Kitchen and Laboratory in the West, 1400-2000.″ It features items housed in Special Collections and University Archives and was co-curated by Vera Keller, Jennifer Burns Bright, and students in Clark Honors College History 431, “History of Experiment.”
