We’ve listened to your suggestions for improving the library’s homepage. One major change is a system of individualized audience tabs for four main user groups: UO undergraduates, graduate students, faculty and staff, and the general public. The tabs include links to the most frequently used library resources and services for each group, along with targeted features and how-to tips.
Undergraduate students are our largest group, so the site opens to the undergraduate audience tab by default. Here is an easy way for you to navigate directly to one of the alternative audience tabs Note that the following screenshots use Mozilla Firefox. The steps are similar for Chrome, IE, and Safari, although some menu terms may vary between the different browsers.
Step 1: With Toolbar Bookmarks in view, open the library's homepage at library.uoregon.edu
Step 2: Select your preferred audience tab and drag the link to Toolbar Bookmarks
Step 3: Right-click on the bookmark to edit (optional)
That's it! Use your new bookmark whenever visiting the library website for direct access to the library links and resources you use the most.
