Cinema Studies Event Offers Behind-the-Scenes Look at the Making of Portlandia
Here's your chance to learn from the pros about TV production. On Friday, February 8, the UO’s Cinema Studies Program, whose new media computer lab is housed on the second floor of Knight Library, will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the TV program Portlandia as part of its Working Filmmaker Series.
A panel comprising members of the production crew of Portlandia will provide insights about film and TV production career opportunities in Oregon.
The free event will be held in 115 Lawrence from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The Cinema Studies new media lab in Knight Library is open to UO students, faculty, and staff for digital editing and image creation. It is open available seven days a week during the academic year for those who need to cut, tweak, filter, and deliver any type of project involving sound and picture.
