First Screenings in Cinema Studies’ FILM on FILM Series to take place Oct. 12 and 13
UO students, faculty, and staff are invited to the first events in Cinema Studies’ FILM on FILM series. The screenings will feature Ed's Coed, the first full-length motion picture made by UO students and filmed in 1929.
The screenings for Ed’s Coed will be shown on Friday, October 12, and Saturday, October 13, at 7:00 p.m. in Prince Lucien Campbell (PLC) Hall, Room 180. For this premiere, UO Associate Professor of Music Brian McWhorter has composed and arranged an original score for the film that will be performed live at the event by the group Beta Collide.
This event is presented by Cinema Studies in conjunction with the Working Filmmaker Series workshop. Cosponsors include the UO Libraries and The School of Music and Dance.
