Faculty members: apply for special funds to purchase library research materials.
Following a one year hiatus, the UO Libraries is pleased to announce that we are once again accepting applications for the popular Stanley B. Greenfield Faculty Awards Program. This endowed program of the UO Libraries provides an opportunity to request special funds for purchasing library research materials that typically fall outside departmental acquisition budgets.

James Fox, Head of UO Libraries Special Collections and University Archives, will give a presentation on the long and rich history of the book, both as a human-made artifact and a means for transmitting culture.
Thanks to collaborations with the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde and funding from UO Libraries donors, three new titles documenting Native American news, views, and history are now available for searching and browsing on Historic Oregon Newspapers online:
